I haven’t disappeared, I do promise you. Yesterday I had to work and then Jeff called to ask if I wanted to go to dinner over the border. So I wasn’t home. Today I awoke to a whopping sinus headache and I still have it. Normally my Sunday is a cleaning day and I was also planning on going to my father’s and hooking up my laptop for him as his computer, but I’m going nowhere and I don’t think I’m cleaning either.
I finished The Other Boleyn Girl and ordered 4 other books by the same author. They should arrive next week some time. I have been a reading mood rather than a computer/net mode which is why the quite. Have you guys ever heard of A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life's Purpose
Supposedly it is on Oprah’s Book Club and the reviews of it aren’t too bad. I am more into fiction rather than self-help books but I’m thinking some self help is required, lol.
Baseball was fun. For the whole season last year I didn’t really feel a part of the team. I worked with these people but being displaced to a different location I was still getting to know those people as well, so I just felt odd. But Thursday night, it was a totally different feeling and I loved it. Looks like I get to be catcher for the season which I love. I even got some great catches and throws in so I think my team was pretty impressed with me…and so was I. I was super duper sore for the next few days though…and if that is any indication this coming week is going to be full of sore; Bootcamp starts tomorrow 6am.
My first baseball game of the season is tonight. I’m excited but scared at the same time. I don’t particularly like the game but I do it as a way to come out of my shell. Having to stand up in front of people and swing a bat…not my favourite pastime. I feel like they are staring at me and making fun of me. I don’t mind back catching though…hopefully I got that position.
